Bryant Park in Midtown

“I absolutely love this park. Not only is it conveniently close to the Nederlander Theatre, but it's gorgeous. Whether it be ice skating, swing dance lessons, or even performances by Broadway shows, there's always something exciting happening at this green oasis amid the hustle and bustle of midtown.”

The Uncommons in Greenwich Village

“I'm an NYU student, and one of my favorite places near school is this games cafe located on Thompson Street. As you have some coffee, tea, or grab a bite to eat, you can play a board game from their library of a collection. From Scrabble to Cards Against Humanity, they have it all.”

Schmackary's in Midtown

“This cookie shop is a Newsies cast favorite. Their selections change seasonally, but they are always heavenly delicious. My personal favorites: the funfetti or chocolate covered pretzel cookies.”

Shakespeare Garden in Central Park

“This little gem is hidden within Central Park, very close to Belvedere Castle. This beautiful garden is filled to the brim with flowers and plants mentioned in Shakespeare's works with plaques that give the quotes where they are mentioned. It's the perfect place to relax, read, and bask in the beauty of Central Park.”
