Three-time Tony nominee Marin Mazzie snagged the plum role of over-the-top stage diva Helen Sinclair in the Broadway adaptation of Woody Allen’s Bullets Over Broadway. Dianne Wiest, who won an Oscar for her portrayal, originated the role in the 1994 film of the same name. Get the skinny on this outrageous character in the video below.

Mazzie earned her first Tony nomination in 1994 as the adulterous lover Clara in Stephen Sondheim’s Tony-winning musical Passion.
