Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

"At The Ballet" from A Chorus Line (Mara Davi, Leigh Zimmerman and Kelsey Walston)

Ulterior Motives: 14 years ago tonight, Broadway saw a return to the famous "Line." Sixteen years following the original production's closing, Broadway welcomed back the first revival of one of Broadway's most sensational musicals, A Chorus Line. The revival ran for nearly 2 years at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. The revival also gave musical theatre fans an iconic documentary, Every Little Step chronicling the casting process of the Broadway revival. Aside from the competition for the star role of Cassie, one of the most exciting sections of the documentary was the search for the perfect Maggie who could conquer the song's trademark Marvin Hamlisch crescendo. The role went to Mara Davi in her Broadway debut. Click play to see why.

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: This special clip was from A Chorus Line's Hollywood Bowl run in 2016 where Mara recreated her role as Maggie Winslow. Our ultimate moment from the terrific triple threat is not that final "bal-let!" but actually from a few seconds earlier at 2:23! Mara's vocal placement is so spectacular - audiences KNOW that she has that final "at the ballet" just from the stanza prior. Absolutely beyond - what a superpower to have!
