Hot Clip of the Day: Before Carlton in "...Bel Air" Alfonso…

Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

The Tap Dance Kid Commercial (Hinton Battle, Alfonso Ribeiro and Broadway Cast)

Ulterior Motives: The 1983 Broadway musical The Tap Dance Kid, which starred Tony winner Hinton Battle and Alfonso Ribeiro (yes, Carlton from television's "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air"), is set to be part of New York City Center's 2020-2021 season. Talk about a powerhouse creative team they've assembled too - Kenny Leon direction and Jared Grimes choreography. The musical is going to be part of New York City Center's online series Encores! Inside the Revival available on their YouTube channel. The series will be providing a first look at how the creative team will putting their stamp on this toe-tapping musical.

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: Initially we were going to highlight the show's Tony Awards clip but then this 30 second moment popped into the results and we literally gasped. It's like snapshot over snapshot of amazing dance moves by Hinton, Alfonso and the talented Broadway cast. Then the grand finale of the commercial at 22 seconds in - Hinton does this gorgeous kick routine and three seconds later get ready to really gasp. Where or how does Alfonso even fly in like that?!
