Country music superstar Jennifer Nettles will be the name on all of Broadway’s lips as she makes her B’way debut on February 2 as murderess Roxie Hart in the Tony-winning hit Chicago. Nettles has a legion of fans thanks to her time as lead vocalist of the band Sugarland, her Grammy-winning collaboration with Bon Jovi and her breakout solo career with the hit That Girl.

But you know what, this country gal has Broadway chops. In an interview with Fox News back in 2007, she said she would “love to do Broadway. It’s a dream”. And she has given some musical theatre flavor in concerts for years.
