This week, School of Rock
creators Andrew Lloyd Webber, Glenn Slater, & Julian Fellowes all received Tony Award nominations for adapting Jack Black's 2003 film of the same name into a big, Broadway musical that rocks the house down and shows off some of the most talented kids Broadway's ever seen.To celebrate SoR's successful jump from movie-to-musical, BroadwayBox put together a mega playlist of some other famous shows that started on the screen and ended up on the stage (like this season's other musical, Waitress).
