Fox’s The Rocky Horror Picture Show is shaping up with theatre stars Ryan McCartan (Brad Majors) and Reeve Carney (Riff-Raf) joining Emmy nominee Laverne Cox (Dr. Frank-N-Furter), but today all attention is on Staz Nair, a Russian/Indian model, actor and singer-songwriter from London who will take on the title role of Rocky.

A former X Factor UK contestant, Nair is also set to join next season of HBO’s Game of Thrones. But since we’re talking musicals, here’s a glimpse of him singing before we get to the shirtless pics.

Eventhough music has taken the back seat over the last year and a half professionally speaking, I've tried to keep creative by sitting on my piano/basic bitch keyboard and writing when I can. Writing for the sake of enjoyment as opposed to trying to stay relevant, appease a demographic or stick to a genre brought on a necessary progression for me in terms of figuring out what I have and want to say through my music as an individual. Offering yourself and your thoughts out to the public is very personal even for someone as extraverted as myself and I'm still just writing for pleasure as opposed to necessarily trying to pursue a career in music again.I think maybe that's why I'm starting to like what I'm coming out with. When you stop enjoying what you do creatively, you lose the platform to create freely and nothing good, or at least honest, will come out. I would advise anyone to try writing about anything: hum a melody, write your thoughts down, whatever. Keep it to yourself or share it, either way, I find it very cathartic and I reckon many writers/creatives would agree with me.

Who wants to make my new year and take this lovable Dog off our hands for a few months? Sad to say we can't take him with us as I'm travelling with work from mid Jan until April so looking for a temporary home with either other dogs or someone who knows and understands staffy breeds. Roman is terribly affectionate so as long as you have time for a couple walks a day and a lot of hugs (this guys a massive attention seeking softie and will happily cuddle all day) then please get in touch, or likewise if you know someone who you think would be upto it, let me know.
