Arguably the best sitcom ever on TV (arguably because if you disagree, I’m going to start an argument), The Golden Girls comes to the stage in That Golden Girls Show!—A Puppet Parody

, which begins performances at off-Broadway's DR2 Theatre on September 19. Yup, it's puppets acting out your favorite GG moments—what more could you ask for?! http://s3.amazonaws.com/broadwaybox/mediaspot/GG.jpg

The series’ original quartet of leading ladies was comprised of three Broadway veterans— Bea Arthur (Mame, Fiddler on the Roof, Threepenny Opera), Estelle Getty (Torch Song Trilogy) and Rue McClanahan (California Suite, Jimmy Shine, Sticks and Bones)—so very often over the show’s seven-year-run theatrical nuggets of gold would be sprinkled throughout episodes.
