The classic ‘60s musical Hair will open at the Gielgud Theatre on April 1, 2010. The Tony Award Broadway production will transfer to the West End, featuring most of the Broadway original cast. The new cast will include American Idol finalist Ace Young as Berger, and Diana DeGarmo as Sheila. Bedroom Farce to the West End !

After last year’s success at the Rose Theatre in Kingston, Peter Hall’s production of Bedroom Farce will return to the Duke of York’s Theatre on March 24th !

Sara Crowe, Daniel Betts, Rachel Pickup, Jenny Seagrove, Tony Gardner, David Horovitch, Orlando Seale and Finty Williams will star in one of Alan Ayckbourn’s best loved works.

Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies Opened March 9th at the Adelphi

After months of hard work and two weeks of previews, Love Never Dies opened March 9th at the Adelphi theatre. Guests, celebrities and members of the press were invited to watch the sequel to the most successful musical of all time – The Phantom of The Opera. The cast is led by Ramin Karimloo as the Phantom, and soprano Sierra Boggess as his muse Christine.

In Love Never Dies, the main characters of The Phantom of the Opera continue the stories, ten years after the Phantom mysteriously disappears from Paris. Christine Daaé journeys to Brooklyn with her husband and son in order to perform in a new attraction called Phantasma. What Christine doesn’t know is that the Phantom is the one who has arranged her appearance in the production.

Avenue Q to move from Gielgud Theatre to the Wyndham’s !

After a successful run at the Gielgud Theatre, Avenue Q, the furry smash Hit musical, will be moving to Wyndham’s Theatre on March 19, 2010. Some changes to the Avenue Q cast will also be made: Paul Spicer (Notes from New York, Taboo, Fame) takes over from Daniel Boys as Princeton/Rod; Jacqueline Tate plays Christmas Eve, Delroy Atkinson returns as Gary, and Sion Lloyd who created the role of Brian in London, is also returning to the show.

Due to the venue change, Stephen Daldry’s An Inspector Calls will close on March 13, a week earlier than planned. Hair will be performing in Gielgud theatre from April 1st.
